Enhance Your Practice with Aromatherapy, Part 2

Enhance Your Practice with Aromatherapy, Part 2

August 23, 20222 min read

To enhance your practice with aromatherapy, we must first have a clear understanding of what aromatherapy is and how it works. To review, aromatherapy is the usage of essential oils via topical application or diffusion. Essential oils are the aromatic, volatile liquids containing the chemical constituents that are the essence of the plant. For more information on aromatherapy, you can read part 1 of this blog here.

But how can aromatherapy enhance your energetic practice?
That’s a great question!

Everything in nature has an energetic frequency - even the earth.
The human body has an energetic frequency of 62-68 megahertz for a healthy balance. Anything outside of that range is unhealthy, out of tune or out of balance.

More than just the human body having an energetic frequency, each
organ has its own specific frequency. Even our emotions and thoughts have frequencies! For example, anger is a high-intensity emotion that emits a low-frequency vibration. When we can bring our body energies into balance, we promote healing within ourselves, and can bring this practice to heal others.

Interestingly, essential oils each have their own specific frequencies as well, with frequencies ranging from 52 to 320 megahertz. Essential oils are made up of individual molecules coming together in synergy - yet another example that there is no chaos in mother nature! Applying essential oils, either topically or via inhalation, can raise or lower the energy levels of the human body promoting a harmonic resonance. It can relate to being “in tune” with a healing vibration.
You can use this information to develop a framework to enhance your energy practice. Consider integrating aromatherapy either through inhalation, diffusion, or topical application with your healing practice. Essential oils can enhance the benefits of healing modalities such as energy therapy and bodywork.
